Steve Hale
Steve Hale is the Managing Director of Steve Hale Transport Consultancy Ltd, a company he founded in 2019 with the vision of providing expert advice and strategic solutions to the transport industry. With a wealth of experience spanning 28 years in the sector, Steve has developed a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and industry best practices.
Under his leadership, the consultancy has grown to support a wide range of clients, from independent operators to large logistics firms, helping them navigate the complexities of transport management and compliance. Steve is passionate about delivering tailored, practical solutions that enhance safety, sustainability, and profitability.
Beyond his professional expertise, Steve is known for his hands-on approach and commitment to building strong client relationships. His dedication to the industry is matched by his enthusiasm for staying ahead of regulatory changes and emerging trends.
When he’s not driving the business forward, Steve enjoys watching Rugby and Football and spending time with his family.
Steve Hammond
Steve is an experienced Transport Manager and consultant, starting in the industry as a driver in 2008, Steve found himself rising through the ranks covering many roles and gaining a great deal of experience.
Steve passed his Transport Manager CPC in 2015 and started his own consultancy business in 2016, firstly in the Transport Training sector and then migrating to focus on transport compliance in 2018 and becoming a FORS Auditor in 2019.
Steve has gained experience as ETM for several clients and specialising in helping clients obtain Operator Licence’s, Auditing and FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold support.
He prides himself in being client focused with client support and needs being a key focus to his work approach.
Outside of the work environment Steve loves travelling, classic cars, is a keen runner and enjoys watching the F1.
David Cox
David Cox is a independent Transport Consultant and the founder of DCT Consultancy Ltd, established in November 2023. He also serves as the External Transport Manager for several companies.
A Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), Mr. Cox holds multiple qualifications, including the Transport Manager CPC (International Road Haulage & Passenger Transport), City & Guilds certification in Tachographs and Analysis, JAUPT-approved Driver CPC Trainer status, Lead Auditor certification, and the NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety.
With over three years as an independent consultant and 14 years with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) as a Traffic Examiner and Counter Fraud Investigations Examiner, he has extensive expertise in Operator Licensing compliance, audits, and accreditation schemes like FORS and Earned Recognition. Recognized by Traffic Commissioners, his audits meet the high standards required by the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, covering both Goods and Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) operations.
Daniel Lee
Daniel Lee is an experianced Transport Manager with over 18 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, Daniel has spent approximately 15 of those years specialising in the transportation of horses across Europe and globally. His career is built on a strong foundation of compliance, road safety, and operational excellence. A dedicated industry professional, he has been recognised with industry awards for his contributions to the field.
His expertise encompasses management,
training, and the implementation of best practices to ensure efficiency and
safety in all aspects of transportation. Daniel is passionate about delivering
excellent customer satisfaction whilst upholding high standards in road safety.
Outside of work, he enjoys running, following Formula 1, and, most importantly,
spending quality time with his daughter.
