Rob Beckers is an independent Transport Consultant and Managing Director of RJB Transport Consultants Limited, founded in November 2025. Rob also provides External Transport Manager Services.
Prior to founding his own consultancy business Rob was a Police Sergeant in the acclaimed Metropolitan Police Commercial Vehicle Unit. Alongside another colleague he was instrumental in delivery the multi-award winning Toolbox Talks that reached over 70,000 drivers and operators in order to support them on their journey to maintain excellence in the Transport sector.
During this time, he led a team of officers dealing with all aspects of commercial vehicle compliance and supervising the response to incidents involving commercial vehicles such as serious and fatal collisions.
Rob holds various qualifications including International Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage, City and Guilds certification is tachograph systems and analysis, City and Guilds vehicle examiner, City and Guilds Vocational Assessor which his specialism in this field being driver assessment. Additionally, Rob was an advanced vehicle examiner, holds an IMI certification in Roller Brake Testing, was a Police advanced driver and Police motorcyclist.
Rob has an extensive knowledge of legislation and regulation governing commercial vehicles and is very well placed to support operators who may need support during prosecution or public inquiry hearings.
