Nikki Wheeler is an experienced HR and H&S consultant with over 30 years of HR experience and 12 years of H&S experience. Nikki is CIPD qualified, having achieved a postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management at the University of Portsmouth, and is NEBOSH qualified, having gained the qualification with PETA Training Limited in Portsmouth (and is also a Mental Health First Aider).
Nikki has worked with many industries, from transport, waste management and recycling, crane hire, groundworks, construction equipment rental, plant hire to a joinery, medical practice, tea rooms and pet shop, to name just a few.
Nikki has a strong professional grounding in all aspects of an HR Consultant role and can help and support Companies with compliance, people matters, and can help them to develop their teams to maintain a strong and engaged workforce.
Nikki is dedicated to ensuring a Company’s HR and H&S policies and processes are compliant, practical, fair, and aligned with the day-to-day realities of a business.
Nikki works closely with directors and managers in all aspects of an employee’s life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to training, development, performance and wellbeing, and in all aspects of health and safety, from risk assessments, safe systems of work, through to accident and near miss reporting to toolbox talk training and information.
Outside of work, Nikki is a keen cyclist who also enjoys running, Pilates, and strength training, as well as reading autobiographies in her spare time.
